PCU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Sun City West, Arizona. This is a travel position with an 89-day duration, starting December 7, 2026.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care in our PCU, caring for general, telemetry-monitored, and medical patients. You may float between BDWMC and BBWMC campuses as needed. The role operates under a universal bed model with varied work schedule assignments.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care
• Review patient histories and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning
• Address patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Coordinate and delegate activities of the healthcare team
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the work area

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area required
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

Shift and Pay

This position offers 3x12 night shifts at $2,559 weekly pay. You will work with a team dedicated to providing quality patient care in a progressive care setting.
