Med Surg RN Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical position. This is a 12-hour night shift role starting at 5:30 PM, offering 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 91-day contract beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Details:

• Night shift schedule with variable days, including up to every weekend as needed
• Holiday rotation required
• Float requirements throughout the facility and within a 60-mile radius to other ThedaCare locations
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Any missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
• Black scrubs required

Clinical Focus:

You will care for medical-surgical patients across multiple specialties including GI, GI drips, Urology, PCAs, NGs, Vascular, and Ortho. EPIC charting experience within the last year is required.

Requirements:

• Current WI RN License
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Minimum 3+ years RN experience
• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience
• At least one completed travel contract (new travelers not considered)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing
• Experience with surgical patients

Weekly pay is $2,521. This position offers stable scheduling with no call-back demands and the opportunity to work within an established healthcare system.
