RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• Day/evening shift with variable hours of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Takes call as needed, typically once per week and every 6th weekend
• Flexibility available to switch call coverage with team members when proper coverage is maintained
• Willing to work with candidates on flexing shift lengths and times
• Work with both outpatients and inpatients across two campuses
• Perform ongoing and systematic patient assessments focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status
• Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses and develop individualized care plans
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner
• Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation in patient records
• Function efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols
• Incorporate hourly rounding into daily practice
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care
• Demonstrate sound knowledge base in care and decision-making for designated patient populations
• OR nursing candidates with Endoscopy training/experience or sole focus on Endoscopy will be considered
