Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry float pool. You will work 12-hour night shifts, rotating through medical-surgical and specialty units to provide direct patient care across our facility.

Role Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Contract length: 91 days, starting November 16, 2026
• Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Patient ratios: 1:6 on nights
• Every other weekend required, or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum; holiday rotation obligation applies
• No on-call required
• Maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract

Clinical Responsibilities

You will float to all medical units including renal, oncology, neuro, and cardiology, caring for adult and geriatric patient populations. Daily census ranges from 28 to 50 depending on the unit. Float pool workers must call in to a recorded line up to 1 hour before scheduled shift start time to receive unit assignment.

Required Skills & Certifications

• Current ACLS, BLS, IV start, and Telemetry certifications
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Central line care and management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry and remote monitoring
• Peripheral line care and starting and maintaining IVs
• Phlebotomy and wound care
• Oxygen administration
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Use of rapid response and code teams

Preferred Certification

• NIHSS
