RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Float position assigned by nursing supervisor at the time staffing assignments are made
• Float to multiple units including Medical Comfort Care, Surgery and GI, Trauma, Medical, Observation, Oncology, Medical Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement/Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac
• Patient ratios vary according to need, typically 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling not available
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must have an active unencumbered Tennessee or multi-state RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Required certification: BLS
• Must have Cerner EMR experience prior to assignment
• Scrubs color required: Royal Blue
