PCU RN Job in Queen Creek, Arizona

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, Arizona. This is a travel position with a duration of 89 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 Night shifts
• $2,559 weekly
• Varied work schedule with possible float to sister site based on census and staffing needs

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family; ensure timely completion
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and care team
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including discharge planning based on patient needs
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plan as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education, role development, and orientation of staff, patients, students, and families
• Contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months in your specialty
• BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
