Occupational Therapist Home Health Job in Oakland, CA

You will work as an Occupational Therapist with HealthFlex Home Health Services, delivering therapy and rehabilitation services across Alameda County. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a day shift schedule.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy visits averaging 8 hours per day across your Alameda County territory
• Prioritize start of care visits and complete mandatory next-day reporting for all new client intakes
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed
• Complete clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of each visit using the Kinnser system
• Maintain timely communication with your clinical supervisor, intake team, and office staff during business hours
• Meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week (1 point equals 1.33 hours)

Requirements

• Current California Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum one year of home health experience
• All overtime must be pre-approved by your clinical supervisor

Your territory covers Alameda County with potential for expansion. You will work independently in the field while staying connected to your clinical team through responsive communication during normal business hours. This role offers the flexibility of home health delivery combined with structured supervision and clear productivity expectations.

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $1,902. This is a 91-day contract assignment beginning September 16, 2026.
