Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts per week, Tuesday through Saturday
• No work required on major holidays (December 25 and/or January 1)
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Daily census of 7-10 patients
• Neurological experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Work with complex patient populations including CVA, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer rehab, complex orthopedic, and general medical/surgical diagnoses
• Perform evaluations, assessments, and reassessments including cognitive and functional capacity evaluations
• Provide adaptive equipment assessment and recommendations
• Perform splinting including dynamic splints, functional splints, and static splints
• Address upper and lower extremity conditions including prosthetics
• Provide patient and family education and pre-discharge planning
• Utilize Epic charting system (required)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Valid California state license required
