CT Technologist Job in McKeesport, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Southwest — UPMC McKeesport in McKeesport, PA. You will work 4 days per week on a rotating shift, earning $3,421 weekly. Your assignment begins August 10, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic CT purposes using independent judgment
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and power injector use according to set protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policy
• Assess patients for potential risk factors before contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and utilize universal protocol
• Review patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal results
• Document patient history in electronic medical records as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, with charges entered
• Communicate clear instructions to patients to allay concerns and solicit cooperation

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
