ED RN Job in Lowville, NY

Lewis County General Hospital is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a night shift basis. This is a full-time position with immediate availability.

Position Details:

Role Responsibilities:

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities include assessing patients presenting with acute medical conditions and injuries, implementing nursing interventions, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality outcomes. You will work independently and as part of a team to triage, stabilize, and facilitate appropriate treatment for patients across all acuity levels.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Ability to work nights in a high-volume emergency environment
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting

This is a direct-hire travel position. You will work full-time hours over the 91-day contract period. Night shift work requires availability from approximately 7 PM to 7 AM or similar evening-to-morning hours, depending on facility scheduling.
