Med Surg RN Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med Surg position at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work on a high-acuity surgical floor specializing in trauma cases. Your patient ratio will be 5:1, and you'll care for a diverse population including post-operative surgical patients, gunshot wound patients, and patients with spinal cord injuries (quadriplegics and paraplegics). The unit is well-supported with nursing technicians, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary available on night shifts to help you deliver excellent care.

Shift and Compensation

This position offers 3x12 day shifts at $1,764.44 weekly pay. Assigned shift schedules are required—block scheduling is not available. No requested time off (RTO) is permitted during your assignment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC electronic health record experience required

Clinical Support

You will work within an established care coordination system. ED nurses and the admitting unit complete formal handoff processes to ensure continuity of care and clear communication about patient needs and transitions.
