ED Registered Nurse Job in Saint Louis, MO

Christian Hospital in Saint Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position running 112 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (5:45 PM to 6:15 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
• Every third weekend required; every other holiday rotation
• Patient ratio maintained at 1:4 across all shifts
• No on-call or floating outside the emergency department
• Block scheduling not available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years emergency room experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Must be willing to relocate; local candidates within 75-mile radius not eligible
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• CPI and TNCC certifications preferred

Work Environment

The emergency department operates across 38 beds, handling approximately 127 patient visits daily. You will care for all age groups—neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—with a dedicated psychiatric patient area. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary staff.
