Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment on the Telemetry unit in Tucson, Arizona. This is a day shift, float pool position working 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a 3x12-hour schedule.

Assignment Details

• 13-week contract duration
• 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Float pool role across four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Weekly pay: $2,080

Qualifications

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Take accountability for shift responsibilities and patient outcomes

• Must be willing to float between assigned facilities
