Med Surg RN Job in Medford, WI

Aspirus Medford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical nursing. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical
• Shift: 3x12 Nights (12-hour variable shifts, primarily PM or Nights)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,402.64
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4–5 on Days/Evenings and 1:6–7 on Evenings/Nights
• Occasional float to other departments to assist with vital checks without taking on a full patient load
• May float to nearby locations as needed
• Must be able to read telemetry strips

On-Call and Scheduling:

• Travelers may be placed on call during low census hours with on-call pay provided
• If called back to the facility, call-back pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours

Required Qualifications:

• Current WI or compact RN license
• ARC or AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• ED or ICU experience is very helpful
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
