ICU Registered Nurse Job in Muskogee, OK

You will deliver direct patient care in our Intensive Care Unit at Muskogee Campus Hospital. Working three 12-hour shifts per week on a flexible schedule, you'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor and evaluate patient functional status through individualized care planning
• Perform nursing care with consideration for cultural, psychosocial factors, and patient age
• Organize, prioritize, and execute nursing skills appropriate for the critical care population
• Document the nursing process and patient care accurately, concisely, and legibly using correct medical terminology
• Facilitate patient teaching, discharge planning, and timely referrals to appropriate resources
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and disciplines as needed
• Float to other units as required

Requirements:

• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications: CRRT and Swan-Ganz Catheter experience.
