PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a variable schedule
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
• Care for intermediate medical patients including high risk respiratory, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery patients
• Manage a variety of patient populations on room air through BIPAP or Optiflow
• Work in a Pulmonary Thoracic Intermediate/Step Down unit
• Required certification: AHA BLS
• ACLS preferred
• NIHSS preferred
• Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
• Non-local candidates only - must reside more than 50 miles from facility
