Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Christian Hospital in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit. This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning October 5, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You will care for adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring, telemetry stroke protocols, and cardiac medication management. Patient ratios are 6:1 on nights. You will float within the Telemetry service line as needed and have access to a unit secretary for support. The unit operates with a daily census of 27 patients across 29 rooms and 46 beds.

Schedule and Requirements

Night shift work includes a weekend requirement of 6 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotation). No on-call duties are required. Block scheduling is not available. You will wear navy scrubs and use the EPIC charting system.

Clinical Skills and Certifications

You must hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Required skills include:

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Telemetry monitoring
• Nasal cannula administration
• Non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care and management
• Isolation precautions and proper PPE use

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
