Job Details:

• Day shift position with 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 13-week or 26-week contract options available with November start dates
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Self-scheduling model in place; manager will explain during call and will do best to accommodate preferred schedule but cannot guarantee desired schedule
• Work within the Children's Hospital caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Must have Level IV NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Must be competent in caring for patients across all units of the Children's Hospital
• Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP, and Virginia State License
• PALS and ACCS preferred
• Virginia license pending accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start; must have another state license to be eligible for a temporary license
