ED RN Job in Boerne, TX

Join Methodist Boerne Emergency Center as a contract RN for a 13-week assignment in the Emergency Department. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), providing 36 guaranteed hours weekly. This role offers competitive compensation at $1,661 per week with a start date of August 12, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients presenting with chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, extremity injuries, fever, motor vehicle accidents, back pain, pregnancy-related complaints, skin infections, animal bites, pediatric illness, and lacerations
• Assist with urgent care, stroke, and STEMI cases, as well as pediatric emergencies
• Support care for critically ill patients including acute myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, stroke, trauma, overdoses, spinal cord injuries, cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, pulmonary embolus, and pneumotharax
• Float as needed per Methodist Floating Policy

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years emergency room experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH
• Meditech experience preferred

Schedule & Benefits

• 3 shifts per week at 12.5 hours each
• Rotating weekends or 4 weekend shifts per schedule

• No on-call requirements

• Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket required
• Clean and healthy nails
