Telemetry RN Job in Silverdale, WA

You are a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience, including telemetry expertise. St Michael Medical Center is seeking an RN to work on a 32-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit located on the 7th Floor in Silverdale, WA.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,507

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for patients with Medical/Surgical overflow and non-acute stroke diagnoses
• Manage patient ratios of 4:1 (50% of the time) and 5:1 (50% of the time)
• Titrate drips including insulin and pain medications
• Validate telemetry strips on centralized telemetry monitoring
• Operate equipment including BiPAP and high-flow oxygen systems
• Collaborate with nurse aides available at 8:1 to 10:1 ratios
• Access charge nurse and house supervisor support on the unit

Requirements and Expectations

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC system experience required
• Floating requirements apply
• Weekend work based on unit needs
• Holiday requirement: one winter and one summer holiday
• Possible standby requirement; no on-call requirement
• Professional, clean attire required—no denim, no specific scrub color requirement
• No RTO (Return to Origin) approved for the first week of assignment

This acute care setting offers the support of an established charge nurse and house supervisor team. You will work in a structured environment with defined patient ratios and access to nursing support staff.
