Telemetry RN Job in Gig Harbor, WA

St Anthony Hospital - Gig Harbor is seeking an RN for their Telemetry unit. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekend requirements based on unit needs. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 9, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,409.

Your Role

• Provide direct care to post-surgical patients, including general, orthopedic, urological, and gynecological cases, plus medical overflow patients
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4-6 with nurse aide support at 1:8-16
• Titrate drips including Heparin, blood products, and IV fluids
• Read, validate, and document telemetry strips independently, as monitor technicians work off-site
• Float within your scope of practice as unit needs require
• Use EPIC for all charting and documentation

Unit Details

The unit operates 32 beds with 16 telemetry-capable beds. You'll complete 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation through our onboarding process.

Scheduling Requirements

• No on-call or standby requirement except as needed based on census
• Weekend requirements based on unit census and demands
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, with coverage needed on both shifts (Christmas 2026 included)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Washington State or Compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year RN experience with telemetry experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• BSN not required
• Scrub color requirement: Navy top and bottom
