ED Registered Nurse Job in Elmira, NY

Arnot Ogden Medical Center (AOMC) in Elmira, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 90-day travel position ideal for RNs with prior emergency department experience who are ready to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 shifts, day hours from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Duration: 90 days, starting November 1, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,411
• Setting: 48-bed treatment space emergency department
• Patient ratio: 1:5

What You'll Do:

You will deliver direct patient care in a high-volume emergency environment, managing acute and critical presentations across all age groups and acuity levels. Your nursing judgment, clinical skills, and ability to remain composed under pressure will be essential as you triage, stabilize, and provide evidence-based care to diverse patient populations.

Requirements:

• Current RN license (valid in New York)
• Prior emergency department nursing experience required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
