PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

• Work across the entire facility including the 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule with no night shift requirements
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Minimum 1 weekend shift per month required
• Patient ratios of 4 patients per day on IRF unit and 8-12 patients per day on acute care
• Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning
• Conduct team conferences and family training sessions
• Provide adaptive devices and equipment recommendations
• Utilize therapy equipment including 2 therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and ADL Apartment
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Willingness to work on IRF unit required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills required
• Hospital and IRF experience highly preferred
• Stroke and neuro experience preferred
• Collaborative, flexible team player personality preferred
• Active PT license required
• Active BLS certification required
