Job Details:

• 26-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Self-scheduling model in place; manager will explain during call and will do best to accommodate desired schedule
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Working within the children's hospital setting
• Must be competent in caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Must work in all units of the children's hospital
• Patient age groups include neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills required to work within a multidisciplinary team
• 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT
• PALS and ACCS preferred
• Virginia state license required; pending license accepted provided a temporary license can be obtained before start date, and another state license must be held to be eligible for a temporary license
