Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work on K9A Oncology/Women's Surgical unit, located on the 9th floor
• Unit has 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• EMR system used is Cerner
• Work with standard unit equipment
• Perform occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures
• Required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
• On-call is rare
• Float to other med-surg units on occasion, though the team rarely floats
• RN dress code: navy, white, or a combination of both colors
• Active RN license and BLS certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
