Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work on K9A - Oncology/Women's Surgical unit located on the 9th floor
• Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, and 2 CNAs
• 24-bed unit with standard unit equipment
• EMR system: Cerner
• Perform occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures
• Required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
• Rare on-call requirements
• Float to other med-surgical units on rare occasions
• Dress code: RNs must wear navy, white, or a combination of both colors
• Active RN license and BLS certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Team player attitude and willingness to learn required
