Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac/Telemetry experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• No on-call required
• Experience with the following drips required, no exceptions: Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and Dopamine
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post CABG, and Pre/Post TAVR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• California RN license required with valid Nursys verification
• Certifications must be AHA or ARC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tube management, heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, phlebotomy, telemetry, tracheostomy care/management, TAVR, wound care/wound vac, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Special procedures include: Pre/Post CABG, TAVR, CEA, Watchman, and cardiac cath/PCI
• Plum IV pumps used on unit
• Adult patient population
• 40-bed unit with a daily census of 40
• 24 orientation hours provided
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
