Telemetry RN Job in Modesto, CA

Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Modesto, CA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 13, 2026, working 3x12 night shifts at $2,041 per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care to adult populations on our Cardiac Telemetry unit, which specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, CEA, Watchman, cardiac catheterization, and PCI. You will manage a patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts and days, utilizing Plum IV pumps and Epic charting systems to document care and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac or telemetry experience
• Valid California RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC certified)
• NIHSS certification (AHA or ARC certified)

Unit Details

The unit accepts all diagnoses with a specialty cardiac focus. You will work every other weekend with holidays as needed. No on-call is required. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy.
