Job Details:

• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Every other weekend shift required
• Potential for floating to other units as needed
• Self-scheduling
• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 orientation hours
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit census of 28 with 32 beds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA or ARC only)
• California RN license required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required skills include: cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip titration, central line care and management, PICC line management, peripheral line care and management, accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, chest tubes, tracheostomy care and management, pacemaker management, pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post hemodialysis management, continuous bladder irrigation, feeding tube care and management, wound care and wound vac, seizure disorder management, substance withdrawal, renal failure management, isolation precautions and PPE, and use of rapid response and code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
