RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a Neuro Med Surg unit
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 2+ years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend; night shift can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation
• No on-call required
• May float to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED
• Block scheduling not available
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Fire Safety
• Required skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry on-unit monitoring, telemetry remote monitoring, and total joint replacement
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke
• Adult patient population
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• No parking cost
