Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting September 14, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,073.60.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, days only (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed

Clinical Expectations

• Patient ratios of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• CNA support available at 1:8 to 1:10 ratio
• Floating required to all acute care and cardiology units for medical patients, or to the emergency center for acute care patient holds
• Telemetry monitoring occurs on a separate unit
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue

Technology and Systems

• EMR: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 travel assignment completed
• BSN not required; RN licensure is sufficient
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current NIHSS certification (AHA)
• Must reside within a strict 75-mile radius of the hospital as verified by your driver's license address
