Med Surg RN Job in Lewisburg, PA

WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical unit position in Lewisburg, PA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio: 5:1
• Weekly pay: $2,106

Responsibilities

You will care for adult patients with diagnoses including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical and surgical conditions. You will perform special procedures including total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions, and operate equipment such as bucks traction and telemetry monitors.

Clinical skills include blood product administration, wound care and wound vac management, telemetry monitoring, PICC line management, peripheral line care, IV insulin protocols, and dysrhythmia management. You may float to other departments based on unit needs.

Requirements

• RN degree (minimum 2 years experience)
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting experience
• Tobacco and fragrance free compliance

Time Off and Holiday Requirements

Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract. You are expected to work 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day).
