Telemetry RN Job in Burlington, NC

Cone Health - Alamance Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry in Burlington, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, offering 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with weekly pay of $2,073.60.

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric inpatient populations with multiple co-morbidities, with specialized focus on stroke and neuro patients. You will work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–1:6 and are required to float between all system facilities. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required as needed.

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry remote monitoring experience; on-unit monitoring preferred
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Key Clinical Skills

• Feeding tube care and management
• Accessing and managing ports
• Blood product administration
• Central line, peripheral line, and PICC line care and management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• CVA care, nasal cannula management, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Wound care and wound vac management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG testing

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy.
