Job Details:

• End time can vary based on procedures
• Call required 7-8 days per month
• Facility provides scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to provide patient care in the operating room
• Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure supplies are available and cases run in a timely manner
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
