Med Surg RN Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract on the 4NW Ortho Neuro medical-surgical unit. This is a night shift position with a structured schedule and straightforward expectations.

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week. Holiday rotation required with every other weekend requirement. No on-call or callback.
• Unit Details: You will work on a dedicated ortho neuro med-surg unit with a 1:6 patient ratio, adjusting to 1:7 after 11:00 PM. You may float to other like units and facilities based on census.
• Clinical Requirements: Minimum 2 years of med-surg experience in a short-term acute care hospital setting. At least 1 completed travel contract is preferred. You must be proficient in indwelling drain removal and PICC line care including dressing changes. Epic charting experience within the last 12 months is required.
• Certifications & Credentials: Current BLS, NIHSS, and Wisconsin RN License required. Associate Degree or Certificate minimum; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Compensation: Weekly pay is $2,462.40. Contract runs 91 days, with start date October 6, 2026.
