Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• ED Boarder assignment requiring strong Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Float required to same level of care units
• 20-room unit with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
• Skills required include Cardiac Telemetry, ER Holding, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry monitoring, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
• Minimum of 1 completed travel assignment required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Maryland compact license or MD license required
