PCU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Sun City West, Arizona. This is a travel nursing assignment with a 12-week duration starting October 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 hours, nights
• Weekly Pay: $2,559
• Duration: 89 days
• Facility: Banner Del Webb Medical Center, 14502 W Meeker Blvd

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to PCU, general telemetry-monitored, and medical patients across Banner Del Webb campuses
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs and discharge planning requirements
• Review patient history and diagnostic results; report abnormal findings to physicians
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans with discharge planning components
• Coordinate and delegate healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching
• Document all nursing activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care activities
• Work with a universal bed model in a varied schedule assignment
• Float between Banner Del Webb Medical Center and Banner Banner West Medical Center campuses as needed

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Recent acute care experience as RN in specialty area within the past 12 months
• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
