PCU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Grady Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a progressive care position in Atlanta, GA. This is a night shift role on a float pool basis, covering PCU and IMCU floors with a cardiac patient population.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac progressive care environment. Your responsibilities include managing patients with acute coronary syndromes, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain conditions. You will work with a typical patient ratio of 1:3-4 and may also be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients across multiple floors
• Document care using the EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to float pool assignments as needed across designated units

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work nights with minimal requested time off

Assignment Details

This is an 88-week assignment beginning September 8, 2026. Night shift hours with weekly pay of $2,087.
