Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Christian Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Telemetry position in Saint Louis, MO. This is a day shift role working 3x12-hour shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours.

Position Details

• Day shift on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit
• 3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call required
• Float within service line as needed
• Navy scrubs required
• No parking cost

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS and Fire Safety certifications
• EPIC charting system experience

Key Responsibilities

• Care for adult Medical, Surgical, and Oncology patients
• Access and manage ports
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy
• Interpret dysrhythmias and provide telemetry monitoring
• Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE use
• Start and maintain IV lines
• Manage patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities
• Support end-of-life care in the unit's two Comfort Care Suites

Work Environment

You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team with Unit Secretary support. The unit specializes in Medical, Surgical, and Oncology patient care with dedicated comfort care resources for end-of-life patients.

Assignment Details

91-day contract beginning November 30, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,245.
