Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Float on a rotational basis
• 1 year of telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Current RN license required - must meet criteria for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Work with equipment including telemetry monitors, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• Utilize EPIC EMR system
• Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7
• 32-bed unit serving medical, med tele, and respiratory patients
• Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire orientation week
• Scrub color required: black scrubs only
