Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment on Medical 6B, a 32-bed telemetry unit. You will work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,106 weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment, IV pumps, lift equipment, and tube feeding pumps
• Manage drug titration and coordinate care with ancillary departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality using the EPIC EMR system
• Work with medical, med tele, and respiratory patients
• Float on a rotational basis as needed by the unit

Requirements:

• Current RN license, valid in Missouri or obtainable in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year inpatient telemetry experience
• Demonstrated competence in drug titration
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
• Patient ratios: nights 1:6 to 1:7
• No call requirements; weekend hours as required by facility
• Must be available for full orientation week on day shift before transitioning to nights
• Black scrubs required

This assignment begins July 16, 2026. You will have guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 weekly as indicated on your submission form. Night shift orientation occurs during day shift hours, and your availability for the entire orientation week is mandatory.
