PCU RN Job in Greeley, CO

Banner North Colorado Medical Center is seeking an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position. You will work 3x12 night shifts on a varied schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit requirements. This is an 89-week regional contract role based in Greeley.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in the PCU while maintaining flexibility to support Medical/Surgical units at Banner North Colorado Medical Center, Loveland, or BFC as needed. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Read and monitor telemetry strips with proficiency
• Care for patients with cardiac, medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Review diagnostics and laboratory results, reporting abnormal findings to physicians and care team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed health care team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plans of care as needed
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership initiatives and support orientation of facility personnel

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in PCU or Medical/Surgical specialty within the past 12 months
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Colorado CAPS required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Compensation
