Med Surg RN Job in Morgantown, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a 13-week travel contract with the possibility of extension.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekday and weekend shifts required
• Blocked schedule; the unit will try to accommodate shift requests but cannot guarantee them
• Maximum of 2–3 call-offs permitted per contract

Role Responsibilities

You will provide direct care to adult patients with acute medical-surgical diagnoses. Patient ratios are 1:5–7. Your responsibilities include blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, heparin and insulin protocols, IV management, PICC line management, wound care and wound vac, tracheostomy care, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, and rapid response/code team participation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license (WV or Compact; pending licenses accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Travel experience not required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (through American Heart Association where applicable)
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system

Compensation and Logistics

• Weekly pay: $2,292
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 2, 2026
• Scrubs are not provided

Interdisciplinary services are available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
