ED Registered Nurse (RN) Job in Nyack, NY

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Emergency Room. This is a travel position running 84 days, starting November 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (12:00 PM to 12:00 AM), minimum 3 days per week
• Weekly pay: $2,475
• Patient ratios: 1:8–10
• Environment: Mixed hold and ER patients
• No on-call, standby, or floating requirements
• Weekend and holiday requirements apply

Requirements

• Current New York nursing license
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• EPIC electronic health records experience
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• Competency in reading cardiac monitor strips (no monitor technicians on unit)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Triage experience preferred; you may be assigned to triage if applicable
• BSN not required

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Draw labs for non-admitted patients
• Work alongside respiratory therapy on equipment management and ventilator support
• Wear navy blue scrubs
• Utilize EPIC for all charting

• 2-day unit-specific orientation
