Med/Surg RN Job in Augusta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced RN to join Doctors Hospital - Augusta on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a 40-bed Med/Surg unit, providing direct patient care and clinical support to a diverse patient population.

Role Details

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours total weekly)
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:7 on a well-staffed unit
• Perform nursing procedures including EKGs, glucometer checks, and venipuncture
• Use Meditech electronic documentation system
• Work alongside 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 6 fellow nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 unit coordinator per shift
• As contract labor, you may be floated to similar units as staffing needs arise
• Rotating weekend schedule as part of the rotation

Requirements

• Current Georgia RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends

What to Expect

You'll operate standard medical equipment typical of a Med/Surg setting and maintain professional appearance with required royal blue uniform (top and bottom). The unit is organized and staffed to support quality patient care, and you'll be part of a collaborative nursing team.
