ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Rotating weekend schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 behavioral health, and 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Work in a 48-bed private room unit with 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds
• Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser, and resuscitation
• Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
• Document using MEDITECH EMR system; prior Meditech experience preferred
• Trauma experience and inpatient holding experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• Ideal candidate is a multitasker, team player, and self-starter
• Required scrub color: Navy blue
