Emergency Department RN Job in McKinney, TX

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department. This is a travel position offering 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, starting September 28, 2026, for a 91-day assignment. You will earn $2,011 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:4 patient ratio in your assigned zone
• Float to hold admitted ED patients within the department as needed
• Work within a structured night shift team including 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics, and 5 mid-shift RNs with 2 mid-shift techs
• Participate in 4 weekend shifts within each 4-week period; no on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Meditech EMR experience
• Familiarity with GE Monitors
• Demonstrated high caliber patient experience skills

Position Details

• Shift: 6 PM to 6 AM, three days per week
• Scrub dress code: Royal Blue top and bottom
• Location: McKinney, Texas
