Med Surg RN Job in Waukesha, WI

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract on a Medical-Surgical unit. This is a night shift opportunity working 3x12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

• Unit & Schedule: You will work on a 4NW Ortho Neuro unit with a 1:6 patient ratio, adjusting to 1:7 after 11:00 PM. Night shift schedule with holiday rotation required and every other weekend required. No on-call or call back requirements.
• Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including indwelling drain removal and PICC line care and dressing changes. You may float to other like units and facilities based on census needs.
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience with at least 1 travel contract completed preferred. Short-term acute care hospital experience required. Epic charting experience required within the last 12 months.
• Skills & Competencies: Strong documentation skills, ability to manage change well, and resilience in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• Credentials & Certifications: Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Current Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Dress Code: Any scrub color.

Contract Details: 13-week assignment starting November 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,462.40. This role offers a stable schedule with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to develop expertise in ortho neuro nursing.
