Emergency Room RN Job in Austin, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract assignment in the Emergency Department at North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX. This is a day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 3x12 schedule with a rotating weekend rotation.

Position Details:

• 32-bed Emergency Department
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• No on-call requirements
• EMR system: Meditech
• Shift: 3 days per week, 12 hours per day
• Start date: August 24, 2026

Responsibilities:

You will perform typical emergency department procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting. You will work as a strong team player with the ability to anticipate the needs of patients and the department.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (required by start date)
• ACLS certification (required by start date)
• TNCC certification (required by start date)
• ENPC certification (required by start date)
• NIHSS certification
• Greater than 2 years of emergency department experience preferred

Dress Code:

Navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweater required. Pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable.

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $1,743.
