Med Surg RN Job in Tucson, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Med Surg position at BUMC Tucson, located at 1625 N Campbell Ave. This is an 89-day assignment beginning November 16, 2026, working three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,310.30 weekly.

Position Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit that manages SNF and LTAC transfers as well as end-of-life care patients. You may float to other Med Surg units and accept unit-appropriate assignments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry systems

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EKG compliance and ability to pass an ECG exam
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Physical Requirements

You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. You may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. Standard precautions are required due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
