PCU RN Job in Plano, TX

Medical City Plano is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and every-other-weekend rotation.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Plano, TX
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks, starting August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20
• Call requirements: Yes
• Float availability to other units as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years hospital experience
• 2+ years PCU or stepdown specialty experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• MEDITECH documentation system experience preferred

Facility Information:

Medical City Plano uses MEDITECH for electronic documentation. You'll follow standard dress code and appearance policies: royal blue scrubs required, clean and healthy nails only (no artificial nails, gel, or extensions), neat and clean hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, covered body art when possible, and visible piercings limited to ears. Attendance policy compliance is required.
